OverviewMetroid Fusion is a sidescrolling 2D action-game for the Game Boy Advance. Chronologically, it is also most recent game according to the Metroid Timeline.

Metroid Fusion is chronologically the last Metroid game up to date. Samus went on a mission to SR388, and got attacked by an unknown creature, wich later got the X parasite name. Samus was infected, and she nearly died. Her power suit had to be surgically removed. Then, someone suggested that they use metroid cells for a cure. It worked and Samus survived. She got a new Power Suit, and a new mission; some captured X parasites and her old Power suit were on the B.S.L Research station, where an unknown source caused an explosion. Samus goes to the station and discovers that the X parasites are freely roaming the station. It's up to her to save the day again.
