This is the first Pokemon and it definitely set a high benchmark. I read something that said that Pokemon was born perfect and I think they were right!

Just the title screen makes me excited. Pokemon Red Version (USA, Europe) is probably the best Game Boy game ever. Either that or tied 1. with Pokemon Blue Version and Pokettu Monsuta Midori (Or Pocket Monsters Green). So in general this is TEM outta TEM (UNDERTALE reference), but I can only put in 5/5, so crap.

Collect Poket monsters, traveling from city to city. The game is time consuming. But it's fun and addicting. You train your Pokemon to a high level in order to beat all gym leaders each with different elements and maze routes. Great game!

The game that started it all. Pokemon Red is still one of my favorite titles of all time and could really beat a lot of current games in terms of gameplay value.

The mission: Defeat Pokemon Gyms to obtain all 8 badges of the Kanto region, while beating your rival to the title of Pokemon Champion.

That's it. That's essentially what this game's about. Simple, yes. But it's a long journey and you'll meet new friends along the way to help you.

You build your team of 6 from a collection of 151 (yeah, I included Mew, do something about it) creatures called "Pokemon" who possess the powers of the elements in the form of attacks. This team of 6 is used to fight other trainers who block you on your way to the throne.

Sounds easy? Well it is. You go around the world collecting animals to fight other animals and become the world's best dog-fighter. It's simple, but we love it all the same.
