Broken Sword II (PSX)

Broken Sword II can be best described as an adventure game. You play as George Stobbard whose french girlfriend, Nico has been kidnapped. As you set out to seek her abductors, you find yourself wrapped in a conspiracy involving power hungry dictators, fallen priests, mysterious scientists and many other oddball characters. Your journey takes you across many countries and this is a good thing since it results in a change of atmosphere in the game every now and then.
Broken Sword II uses the Playstation controller as a point and shoot kind of interface, however, this doesn't work out all that well even though it's a great improvement over the original Broken Sword. There's not much music in this game, however, as you talk to many people throughout your adventure, there's a lot of voice acting that takes place, which is actually pretty good. Graphically, the game isn't all that great. All the graphics in this title are hand drawn and that makes for a decent change of scene as most games of the time were polygonally rendered.
In Broken Sword II you can play as several different characters including the curvaceous Nico. All said and done it's an interesting game for fans of the adventure genre. Do feel free to check it out and be sure to send out your wishes to Xena who uploaded this game to our server.
