Twisted Metal IV was released on the Sony Playstation on Oct 31st, 1999. Twisted Metal defined the car-combat genre by putting completely crazy weaponry and characters into vehicles and letting them blow each other to smithereens. Twisted Metal III didn't manage to sell many copies. However, Twisted Metal IV was a HUGE improvement over it's predecessor. There were improvements in level design, increase in the number of hidden areas, brand new levels, and many secret weapons.

In two-player mode you can choose to split the screen either horizontally or vertically. There are two different modes, deathmatch and co-op which you can choose. Also, in single player mode you have the option of having a CPU ally help you out.

This is definitely a Playstation title worth checking out. Thanks go out to Soldier for uploading TM II and TM IV to our servers.
