Twisted Metal was one of the first titles to be launched on the Playstation. Ofcourse, a game that definitely deserved to have a sequel. Twisted Metal II was released on Oct 31st, 1996. The Twisted Metal series involve driving and shooting. What makes them unique from Vigilante and of-course Mario Kart is the inclusion of over the top crazy weaponry that is capable of doing some major damage, to you, or your opponents.

In Twisted Metal II you find more vehicles, more opponents, weapons and more worlds to explore. Gameplay mechanics are the same as the first Twisted Metal. There's also a Tournament Mode. You'll drive through LA, New York, Hong Kong, Moscow and Paris, blowing things and opponents up along the way. What could be more fun ?

The game includes some well developed characters who you'll either learn to love, hate, fear or feel a strange cocktail of emotions towards. All in all, Twisted Metal II is definitely worth a look, one of those good Playstation classics that you should surely return to!
