Blood Omen - Legacy of Kain was the first action adventure title in the Legacy of Kain series. It was first released on November 15, 1996 for the Sony Playstation and later released on PC.

In the game, you play Kain, who was murdered and given a chance for revenge by becoming a vampire. You take on the task of revenge and ultimately end up seeking out the Pillars of Nosgoth who in-fact protect the land of Nosgoth from destruction. Sounds interesting ? It sure is, and that's just the gist of it! Blood Omen was well received by critics and players alike. The title received rave reviews for it's engaging story-line, great voice acting, and immersive gameplay.

One of the best titles to come out on the Playstation and one that spawned an entire generation of series. This game is definitely worth checking out for anyone who is interested in a title that might one day become an action adventure classic!
