Sonic Spinball was a very difficult game to develop, as the mechanics were different from the original series, and it was handled by a different team altogether.
However, only one beta release is known, and the differences between this one and the final release are really small: There's no Options screen, and some texts are different. Other than that, they're practically the same.
Also, there's only one bonus round available, and the final boss is invincible. So, are you looking to beat this beta? You can't.
Did you like the final release of Sonic Spinball? Keep playing that instead. This game does small to enhance your experience, and well, if you strive for Sonic game completionism, get it.
