Truely an Incredible Game, On par with Earthbound, ifnot maybe a little funner gameplay wise. It is in Japanese but there IS a Fan Translation patch, So support the hardworking people that rought us such a wonderful game and Download it now!, The patch is here http://mother3.fobby.net/ Nice and easy to fuiger out how to patch it, If i can fuiger it out, Most 95% Of people in the world could make a Sammich, You don't hate Sammich's Do you?

Mother 3(unofficially known as Earthbound 64(for the Nintendo 64)) is the third and, according to Shigesato Itoi, possibly the final game in the EarthBound series. Beforehand, the game was in development for Nintendo 64, and the main character was Flint, but the project was cancelled due to the release date being near the end of the system's life span, issues with the 3D engine and other production problems. The project picked up again for the Game Boy Advance (which was announced on a commercial for Mother 1+2). The game was finally released on April 20, 2006. It retained the traditional EarthBound art style, the general story and characters that were introduced in the cancelled Nintendo 64 version. Unlike the original story for the Nintendo 64, the story focuses on a boy named Lucas and his family on Nowhere Islands. Their home is invaded and the peace is disrupted by the mysterious "Pig Mask Army," which dramatically changes Nowhere Islands by introducing technology and infrastructure and performing bizarre experiments on the flora and fauna in their takeover. The game chronicles the trials and tribulations of Lucas and his family and friends as they fight against the Pig Mask Army threat. The game was only available in Japan, but on October 17, 2008, a fan translation patch was released on the Internet.

Don't be mislead by the screenshots below; this really is in Japanese. HOWEVER, there IS a translation patch available at mother3.fobby.net. Now that that's cleared up... (And even so, thanks to the users who uploaded those screens)
MOTHER3 is an incredible game. It's jam-packed full of awesome-sauce. It has a touching, character driven story and fast yet strategic gameplay. Obviously it's the third in the MOTHER series; in America, we got MOTHER2 as EarthBound for the SNES. So, for all of you wishing there was an EarthBound II... YOUR WISH IS HAPPILY GRANTED!!!
The game features a strategic pattern battle system unlike any other. It still moves as slowly as you need it to, however the character's HP is shown in a rolling meter. This means that whenever you get hit, your HP will slowly scroll down until it reaches the number of HP you now have. This gives you time to heal yourself and continue fighting, even if you've taken mortal damage (which is basically running out of HP). The same does not apply to opponents, however. Changes in thier HP take effect immediatly.
As you level up, certain characters gain PK (or PSI) techniques. When you learn these techniques, your party is capable of doing a whole lot more in battle. Ever want to blind enemies with a giant flash or drop stars upon them? Well, now you can...
To end my review, I'd like to say that this game is one of the best on the GBA (To my knowledge, the best one. I'd seriously pay you if you could show me a better game! XD ...Not really). If the clever word play doesn't get you, the story will. If the story doesn't get you, the intuitive gameplay (Yes, I said intuitive gameplay) will! If not that, then at least the incredible music! MOTHER3 has it all! ...When looking for a great RPG, anyway. :3
