How to Play this Game ?
Game Description & Reviews:
In this game, published by Psygnosis (defunct original publishers of the Lemmings series) and developed by Traveler's Tales (best known for great modern LEGO games), you play as Callum "Rascal" Clockwise, who must rescue his father, Professor Clockwise, from an evil time traveling villain known as Chronos. You get to visit each level in the past, present, and future, and fend off enemies with a bubble gun. This sounds all well and good, but trust me - it's not.
The camera seems to be sentient, and if that's the case, it must hold animosity towards you, as it never goes in the direction you want it to go. The platforming is also horrendous - you might have to predict where you'll land. The cutscenes are awful, with blotchy graphics that are simply unbearable. The graphics are okay. The level design is bland and uninspired. And good luck trying to use your bubble gun on enemies. There are barely any - consider yourself lucky if you find one.
Psygnosis published some pretty good games, but this is not one of them. They tried to join the plethora of 3D platformers, but this one comes out mostly like some sort of poor imitation. I'm pretty sure they didn't intend to make a game that appeared to be a copycat of pretty much every recently released 3D platform game that looked... well... awful. Be smart - steer clear of this one.
