rbx4 rates this game: 3/5Mermaids of Atlantis is one of the many Tetris imitators to appear for the NES. Like most of the others, it is an addictive, interesting game. The rules are very simple but fun, based mainly on color matching but with an extra objective that makes the game much easier. There is a very simple plot that advances in cut scenes between alternate levels.
Overall, this game is probably much simpler and easier than Tetris and Dr. Mario. It would be a good game for children, but it probably does not have enough interesting aspects to keep most adults' attention. The graphics and animations are fairly simplistic. The music and sound effects are repetitive but not annoying.
